Winter Biochar refresh for Vetiver greywater treatment

Winter has come and the char in the greywater reed bed is replaced while the Vetiver are in their dormancy period.

The char is moved to an area of native plants and thrown in as a surface mulch. It slowly incorporates into the leaf litter.
