Hydroponic Vetiver

Photos of what was young slips hung into a rainwater-fed fish pond and then left floating in water for over 5 years after they established. As of now, they are shaded by a Monstera plant growing over the top but they still grow new roots and leaf when the weather warms on the limited sun they receive.

Some of the leaf is held out of the water by the black pool fence visible but the crowns are fully submerged year round.
